The Affordable Care Act & The "Dump Act"

When the affordable care act (ACA) was passed, they were quick to call it "Obamacare" while making claims that its destroy the medical system and cause costs to rise. From the time it was passed, republicans cried and murmured and threatened and threw fits. Now republicans have come up with this new act to replace the affordable care act.

When you voted, did you see this coming? Do you or any of your friends or family have pre-existing conditions? Can you afford these changes? What will you be thinking when your loved ones or friends can't get the care they need?

VOTE, POLITICS

When you voted, what affected your vote? Ignorance? Greed? Fear? Think about this the next time you vote.

Have you seen the changes this new "Dump Act" will bring about? I call it the "dump act" because it seems like they thought it up while constipated and angry. Also, many of these changes would leave people buried in bills which would be dumped on them without regard. The "Dump Act" should be flushed.

AFFORDABLE CARE ACT, REPUBLICAN, A CRAZY DREAM

When we consider what health care is, the real question is, are we getting health care either way? Regardless of the health care plan in place, preventative measures would equate to true health care but those don't make money- at least not in the way that sickness does.

What would be included in preventative care? Lifestyle changes would be a start! Dietary changes, clean environments, stress management, opportunities & options like these would lead to true health care. True healthcare translates to wellness for all and accessible options that promote care.

Simply eating foods full of nutrients would make a major difference but efforts are being made to make this more difficult everyday. GMO's are consistently being put into our foods without our knowledge and those who speak against these are often silenced. Why is this? What's wrong with labeling GMO's so we know what we're eating? Do they think we'd choose the options without them, causing a loss of profits? Hmmm.

Most of the health care costs are attributed to chronic illness and many of these are found to be preventable. The CDC writes, "Eighty-six percent of all health care spending in 2010 was for people with one or more chronic medical conditions." What does this mean? There are ways to help reduce healthcare costs but these are not as easily controlled of monetized by political parties. These changes would need to be done at the local level, in the community and by individuals seeking change and healing.

What are you seeking? If it's health & wellness, believe, it's seeking you!

Please read about the changes TO OUR HEALTH CARE OPTIONS here and think about how serious our voting choices are in the upcoming elections. This is not a game. It's life & when the wrong people are making the decisions, it's death.
